2023.4~7. タイのPrince of Songkla Univ. からJeenoが、Walailak Univ.からTikが来て共同(卒論）研究を行っています。恒例の田植えもしています。

カロテノイド作らないM. aquaticumは黄色くなっている

2023.2.と4 地元農家の協力を得て、農家オオムギの根圏土壌も調べています。

2023.3. カタールに行ってきましたが本来何もないところにオイルマネーで猛烈な発展ぶり。石油はあるから水をくれ、ということですね。
Visited Qatar. There is nothing but sand, humidity, and hot temp. Oil money made everything including water.

2023.3　カタールでも有機排水を使ったオオムギ栽培での根圏微生物を調べています。
GreenHouse、といってるのでなんで暑いところで温室なのと思ったら、
水冷式の冷却温室でした。ドーハ旧市街は古い建物が残されており趣があります。
Investigating rhizosphere microbiome in barley grown in organic waste-containing soil. Greenhouse is cool in Qatar. Old Doha city is beautiful.
