Invitation to stipend holders seeking a hosting Graduate School in Japan

The Institute of Plant Science and Resources, Okayama University is a research center with almost 100-year-old record in plant and agricultural research. Currently, our research is focused on plant responses and adaptation to stress, and on development and maintenance of barley and wild-plant bioresources. We accept Master’s and Doctor’s course students to conduct research and study in our facilities that feature highly advanced technological basis for experimentation in various fields of plant molecular biology, electrophysiology, plant physiology, plant chemistry, plant stress sciences, plant breeding, plant genetics, biochemistry and others.
The foreign holders of Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) Scholarships or scholarships awarded in their own country to study in Japan, such as Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) in Vietnam, China Scholarship Council (CSC) in China, or Office of The Civil Service Commission (OCSC) in Thailand are encouraged to directly contact our research staff and/or office for more information, and possibility to conduct their studies at IPSR (more info here). Inquiries from students with their own private funding are also invited. From our long term perspective, IPSR and Graduate School of Environmental and Life Science, Okayama University are strongly committed to highest level of education and research in Japan.
