2023年12月1日にIPSR International Forum on Plant Stress Sciences by/for Junior Researchers 2023を開催します
岡山大学資源植物科学研究所（IPSR）では、2023年12月1日（金曜日）にハイブリッド形式による国際フォーラム「IPSR International Forum 2023 on Plant Stress Sciences by/for Junior Scientists: 若手研究者による植物ストレス科学国際フォーラムIPSR 2023」を開催いたします。どうぞ、奮ってご参加ください。
The Institute of Plant Science and Resources (IPSR), Okayama University is delighted to organize an international forum entitled “IPSR International Forum on Plant Stress Sciences by/for Junior Researchers 2023” to be held in a hybrid format on December 1st, 2023 (Japan time: UTC+9). This message is to sincerely call for your participation to it as paper presenters and audience.
The objectives of this forum are to foster junior scientists who will lead plant science in the future and provide an opportunity to network with established scientists in the field. Presentations will be conducted under the keyword “Plant Stress (Abiotic and Biotic)”. Students, postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty members are invited to submit oral presentations in either Abiotic or Biotic Session. Approximately five oral presenters will be selected for each session. Each speaker has 15 min for presentation + discussion. The organizing committee commits to achieve great diversity, equity and inclusion. Costs for the transportation and/or stay of some of the selected speakers will be covered by IPSR.
A keynote lecture will be given by Prof. Aiming Wang (Principal Research Scientist, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada – AAFC and Adjunct Prof., University of Western Ontario, Canada). The tentative title of his presentation is “Plant stress sciences with a focus on plant/virus interactions.”
Lastly, an open discussion session will be created to allow participants to freely discuss paper submission, career paths/developments and various ways to enjoy stressful junior researchers’ life with established scientists and editors of international journals such as PLoS Pathogens and MPMI.

The abstract is limited to 200 words.
Notification of abstract acceptance: November 17th, 2023
Deadline for registration: November 30th, 2023
